My name is Joe Lewis and I am a Financial Planner based in Onalaska, Wisconsin, serving individuals and families both locally and throughout the Midwest. I specialize in helping clients make confident, informed decisions through education-based financial planning, with a focus on long-term growth and practical strategies that create lasting impact. I am currently pursuing his Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC) designation to better serve families navigating complex financial circumstances.
Originally from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. My passion for financial planning began in college, where was fascinated by how investing allows money to grow and work over time. That curiosity quickly developed into a deep commitment to personal finance and helping others understand the small, consistent habits that lead to meaningful financial success.
Before becoming a financial planner, I spent nearly 10 years with Kwik Trip in fuel trading and procurement, where I honed my analytical thinking and decision-making abilities. Working in a high-pressure, market-driven environment has helped me learn to stay calm, objective, and focused despite constant external noise. I work to bring that disciplined approach to financial planning, helping clients build personalized strategies aligned with their goals.
Outside of his professional life, I have been actively involved with Rush WI West, a community soccer club, since 2015. I have been a coach, youth director, and tournament director. I feel stronghly about mentorship and community development. I also enjoy playhing golf with friends and colleagues.
I live with the mindset of staying curious, working hard, and creating positive impact. Above all, I value time with my wife, Kylie, and our son, Leo, who inspire me every day.
